Shipping & Returns

Shipping

Orders are normally shipped either the same business day or the following business day, depending on what time they're received - excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Canadian statutory holidays.

We're located on a small island in the Atlantic Ocean in New Brunswick, Canada, and ship by Canada Post to any address in Canada and the USA. However, orders have to be at the post office by 1:30 pm Atlantic time as they have to go by ferry to the mainland. 

We currently only ship within Canada or to the United States. Please see below for reasons why we normally don't ship to other countries other than special requests.

Free Shipping 

We offer free shipping that includes a tracking number on all orders over $60 within Canada (before taxes) and the United States (no taxes are charged). 

US Customers 

When you check out your order, you will be offered various options which depend on the weight of your order and whether you would like a tracking number.

Shipping normally takes 7-8 business days. 

Free shipping is by tracked parcel (7-8 business days). If you would like to upgrade to Expedited which takes 5-6 business days, please leave a note in the comment section when checking out your order and we’ll send you an invoice for the difference in price. 

Canadian Customers

Shipping is by Lettermail (no tracking number) if an order is slim & light enough or by Expedited Parcel which takes from 1-3 days for the East Coast, 3-4 for Quebec and Ontario, 5-6 for Manitoba, Newfoundland & Labrador, Saskatchewan & Alberta, 7 days for British Columbia, 9 days for the Northwest Territories, 13 days to the Yukon and 10 days to Nunavut. Xpresspost is another option offered and is generally 2-4 days faster.

Free shipping is by Expedited Parcel with the option of upgrading to Xpresspost by paying the difference in price. If you would like to upgrade to Xpresspost, please leave a note in the comment section when checking out your order and we’ll send you an invoice for the difference in price.

Note:  Some remote areas of Canada can only be serviced by air delivery.  In these cases extra shipping charges may apply if your order qualifies for free shipping.

International Orders 

We only ship to Canada & the US as shipping can take a minimum of 14 to 21 business days to other countries and up to several months at times depending on customs in your country. Postage with tracking numbers, the only method we would consider using for these reasons, is very expensive & as such we no longer ship outside of North America. If you are willing to pay for a tracking number, please email us at diane@naturesforyou.com with your tentative order and we can let know what the postage would be. Please note that you are unable to place an order directly on our website if you do not live in Canada or the United States.

Taxes, Customs and Import Duties 

Applicable sales taxes are added to Canadian orders only.  If you are an HST province, you will be charged the rate of HST applicable to your province.  If you are not an HST province you will only be charged GST. If you are exempt, please include your status number and you will be refunded the taxes.

Residents of the US will not be charged any taxes but will be responsible for any customs or import duties. Normally, these do not apply to the orders we ship as we make certain that all documentation is completed in such a way that you are quite unlikely to incur any additional fees.

Return Policy 

Note that we aim to please you, our customer - Satisfaction is Guaranteed! 

However, all claims for damage or shortage must be approved before any credit will be issued.  No credits will be issued if we are not notified within 5 days of the receipt of your order.  Prior to returning anything, you must obtain approval for the return.  Email diane@naturesforyou.com with an explanation of the problem and a digital image of any damaged or broken item.  We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (say if you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

FYI :) In the 9 years we've been in business since 2009, we've never had a single return :)
