Half ounce of wild crafted Devil’s Claw Root, cut and sifted
Approximately two and a half tablespoons
Devil's claw is a sprawling groundcover native to South Africa that is related to sesame. The roots and secondary tubers of the plant are used to prepare tea, extracts and topical ointments.
Safety: Check with your physician before using Devil’s Claw if you have a history of gallstones, peptic ulcers, or if you take anticoagulants such as warfarin. Don't take this herb if you have stomach or duodenal cancer. Pregnant women should not take Devils Claw. May increase the effect of blood-thinning medications, such as warfarin (coumadin). Check with your doctor before using this herb if you also take traditional non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
