Happy news! As of Tuesday, October 14th, the Canada Post strike is somewhat settled in that there will be rotating strikes instead of a full time strike. Shipping
I ship by Canada Post within Canada which switches to USPS at the border to the U.S. with no delays as I make sure customs documentation is in proper order.
Orders are normally shipped the following business day at 10 a.m., excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Canadian statutory holidays.
Free Shipping
We offer free shipping that includes a tracking number on all orders over $100 within Canada (before taxes) and the United States (no taxes are charged).
US Customers
Sadly, effective, Friday, August 29th, I had to begin charging 35% duty/tariff charges on many products for orders going to the US. On a happier note, this doesn't apply to Ceremonial Tobacco, and most of the products in the Smudging Category, including abalone shells. Please check back re other products as I'll be making most of them exempt but this will take time as I have a few thousand products to edit. Hopefully the big difference in our dollars will help defray this extra charge. Currently $1 Canadian is 73 cents USD. I appreciate your understanding and hopefully your orders.
When you check out your order, you will be offered various options which depend on the weight of your order, whether you would like a tracking number or not and whether it qualifies for free shipping. Free shipping is by tracked parcel. The following options will be offered and shipping is by USPS.
Small packet air, no tracking #, approx. 10 business days ($6.89 to $18.71 US)
Tracked parcel, tracking #, approx. 10 business days ($8.93 to $20.23 US)
Expedited parcel, tracking #, approx. 8 business days ($18.57 to $22.72 US)
Expresspost, tracking #, approx. 6 business days ($23.18 to $33.60 US)
Canadian Customers
Shipping is by Lettermail @ $3.19 (no tracking number) if an order is slim and light enough. Delivery times will be the same as that for expedited parcel.

International Orders
We only ship to Canada and the US as shipping can take a minimum of 14 to 21 business days to other countries and up to several months at times depending on customs in your country. Postage with tracking numbers, the only method we would consider using for these reasons, is very expensive and as such we no longer ship outside of North America.
Taxes, Customs, and Import Duties
Applicable sales taxes are added to Canadian orders only. If you are an HST province, you will be charged the rate of HST applicable to your province. If you are not an HST province you will only be charged GST. If you are exempt, please include your status number and you will be refunded the taxes.
Duty and tariff charges at a rate of 35% are currently charged on US orders. Please see above for reasons why this will be lowered and/or waived as I buy most of my inventory from US suppliers.
